The Club's Operations manager Buffy Mair says not only are they pleased with www.londonscottish.com's fresh look, they love the fact it is easy to navigate and more interactive, through the use of social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
"Our aspiration is to get into the Championship and beyond, so we wanted to have a website that reflected that ambition and created an impression with people," she said.
"We needed something user friendly, a lot clearer, less cluttered and would bring us up to the level of websites within the Guinness Premiership - which is exactly what this site does."
Founded in 1878, London Scottish are a semi-professional side in National League One - the third tier of rugby in England. The Exiles, who play in distinctive blue shirts with a red lion emblem, are second in the league, with Esher top of the table.
As their name suggests, many London Scottish supporters hail from north of the border, and Mair says the improved site and its social networking features will help keep them in constant touch with the action.
"We attract a huge Scottish following throughout the world," said Mair. "With the new website they are now be able to stay closer to the action by following the club either through the site or on their mobiles.
"Since the launch we have seen an upsurge in traffic to the site and have received only positive reactions from fans."
As part of London Scottish's commitment to the people in and around their Richmond headquarters, there is also a community section that encourages local schools and organisations to get in touch for training sessions with the team's coaches, free tickets to the matches for teachers and pupils and access to rugby camps.
The site is another triumph for leading sports web designers Sotic, whose clients are across the spectrum of both Rugby Uinon and Rugby League including The RBS 6 Nations, Irish Rugby Football Union, Leicester Tigers and Leeds Rhinos
"London Scottish are a well established club with an illustrious history and are on their way back up the league tables," said Sotic's content manager Jonathan McConnell. "They wanted a high quality, professional website to portray that image. "The aim, as always with our websites, is putting the ownership and control within the club, using professional tools at an affordable price. These tools allow the club to update and manage the whole site and their own statistics.
"It is the first time Sotic has produced a website for a semi professional side and it has proved we are not just designers for the high end clubs - we can also deliver a cost effective, polished solution for their aspiring counterparts."
Added Mair: "We are really grateful to Sotic. Not only are they all big fans of rugby and obviously enjoy and understand the game, but their websites aren't a one-size fits all design. They delivered a service that matched our requirements.
"We're currently a level three club, so we have different needs to clubs higher up the league, but Sotic has well and truly catered for us."
